I’ve been rather dismayed lately with the amount of videobloggers that I am subscribed to that arent creating videos. I’ve heard reasons are that some just dont have the time to shoot and edit video anymore. I find that hard to swallow. Videoblogging is all about capturing that moment. Personally, I think the less one edits, the better it is.

I wanted to create this quick spontaneous video to show that it doesnt take long to shoot, edit and post something. It’s not a great video but it serves it’s point. Capture your life for the world to see. That’s what videoblogging is all about.

Day 2 of Videoblogging Week 2008 and I find myself observing a regular ritual by one of our companions that became a meditative moment.

Window squirrel hunting is big in our house.

Testing the Qik embed into an actual post. My N75 produces video that measures 352 x 288. It seems like iMovie and Quicktime have big problems with it and pillarboxes the video. I am yet to find a way to prevent that from happening unless I convert it to a standard NTSC resolution and then edit. Kind of defeats the purpose for an immediate and quick little vid. Qik comes to the rescue and presents the video in 320×240 with an easy embed code.

The Sphynx, Bert and Petey, window hunting a squirrel. Not sure if they would know what to do with it if they ever caught it?
